D'Artagnan Champagne Recipe
Champagne Cocktail Recipe List
D'Artagnan was the fourth Musketeer who joins the Three Musketeers in the famous book and movie by that name. I found the 70s movie version to have a great D'Artagnan - sort of a Luke Skywalker friendly-and-helpful guy. In comparison, the 90s version featured a really obnoxious one :)
Here's a celebration of chivalry and friendship!
1/2 shot Armagnac
1/2 shot Grand Marnier
1 shot orange juice
1/2 tsp sugar syrup
Champagne
Put first four ingredients into a Champagne flute. Fill with Champagne. Garnish with an orange twist if desired.

Armagnac is the name of a region in France that makes brandy, just like Cognac but from a place that is not Cognac :) For every 100 bottles of Cognac that is sold, only 6 bottles of Armagnac is sold. You can of course substitute one for the other if you have to, as I did in my photo.
Grand Marnier is of course a fantastic orange flavored liqueur. You can substitute in Cointreau or Triple Sec based on your budget.
