Knotwork Celtic Wedding Rings

With most rings and jewelry you buy, you wear them for a while and then perhaps toss them in a drawer as you move on to something new. With a wedding ring, you will be wearing this one item for the rest of your life! It is an eternal band representing your love for your partner. No wonder people pour great deals of time and effort into choosing something very special!

Celtic knotwork is one of my favorite themes. Just like the band of the wedding ring, the knotwork goes on eternally, around the band. It represents the eternal strength of love and the intertwinedness of the two halves of the couple.

These knotwork wedding rings were created by Katherine Aberle and are shown here with her kind permission. Please click on the link below to learn more about her artistry!

Celtic Knotwork Wedding Ring
I really like this design - the hearts are so immediately recognizeable as a sign of love, and the two lines are woven together to form one intricate whole.

This "diamond" design combines all that is best with knotwork with the classic diamond imagery of being a married couple. The flowing lines are just so lovely.

The trinity design is very traditional in Celtic artwork and represents the Holy Trinity. This is a perfect way to combine the religious importance of your ceremony with a Celtic design.
